Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Lisa A. Rock, ARNP, is a licensed board certified Family Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, treating patients across the lifespan since 2012. Lisa spent many years as a staff nurse, working in both inpatient and outpatient settings, before returning to the University of Iowa for graduate school in 2009. Prior to joining Kavalier & Associates in 2025, she worked in central Iowa in a child and adolescent community mental health clinic, as well a community mental health center treating children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients.
Lisa is licensed by the State of Iowa as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. She is board certified as a Family Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Iowa in 2012 and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Iowa in 2015. Lisa is a member of the American Nurses Association and Iowa Nurses Association.
